About SWSi

At South Western Sydney Institute (SWSi), we aim to support you in developing the skills you need to achieve your career and educational goals. So, whether you want to move straight from SWSi to a career or use your time with us as a pathway to further education, we are here for you.

As one of Australia's largest TAFE Institutes, we deliver training to over 72,000 students in areas ranging from Aged Care to Engineering.  With nine Colleges, we are able to offer you the experience of studying in a small intimate environment while providing the range of courses, excellent facilities and services that only a large training organisation can.  Our small classes and community-based colleges will give you plenty of opportunity to meet and make friends with Australians and those from other countries. 

Because we are a TAFE we offer you certainty around the level and quality of the course that we deliver. SWSi is also a Registered Training Organisation, which operates in accordance with the provisions of the NSW Vocational Education and Training Act 2005 and within the Australian VET Quality framework. The Institute is also ISO 9001:2008 certified, demonstrating its commitment to quality management systems that enable ongoing improvement. SWSi is a registered provider under the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
